went to watch THE GOLDEN COMPASS just now...
no bad lor
as what ivan said "the show not bad"
=))
but tt is u dun mind waiting for episode 2.....hehehe.....dear said should have part 3 too coz now the trend is to do a trilogy.....see, he so smart *awwww.....*

i have to say nicole kidman very pretty lor. i always like her lor. too bad cruise and her can't work out. if not, they are really the golden couple lor..... =)) so compatible except for their height and ego lor......sigh

dear went fishing today and he told "i lost 2 weights" bloody hell, i just bought the weights leh....so i went (still smiling) "its ok, when we go buy the net, we buy more weights".......sigh......no choice for him, anything also can........

had a lousy interview today.
sigh......i asked the qns which i said i want to ask
and the CM , i think either she cmi or i cmi lor

1st qn " can u tell me the job scope for this candidate"
1st ans "we are actually a ...a...a.... (pause so long) * faint lor*....and i chriped in "architectural??"
and she went "u know, we have a designing team which is the design dept. then we have the project team, where we have everybody doing work from beginning to completion."

"ta da".....so what u expect me to know???!!! i just smiled at her *whatever*
then she went "any more qn for me?"

2nd qn "what are type of projects that the co is handling?"
2nd ans " we have many projects" pls lor, use the pig brain also know co have many projects if not why bother to recruit after all this is a new post not replacement lor....this time i really *rolled eyes* and she continued with "we have overseas and local projects. how familiar are you with the conditions of contract?"
and i replied with " i am only exposed to SIA and PSSCOC during my 11 yrs of work experience. *still smiling but inside want to vomit blood liao"
then she went "orh... we not dealing with any of these. do u have experience with fidac or some other amended versions of contract?"
and i went "huh? wtf is amended version of contract?" then i smiled and said "sorry, but i have no experience with these"
then she went " we need ppl who has the basics, of course, if u r new, we will have to guide u, but dun expect 24hrs guidance from any of us, coz we ARE BUSY. do u work OT?"
then i sian liao lor, but i told myself tt i have to be honest dun say something which i will shoot my feet later. so i honestly told her "in the past, when we have datelines to meet, OT is a must"
then she went "yes. we have more projects coming in now. so OT is a must. i have been doing all these by myself. dun expect someone to help u to type or do things for u." then i nodded my head, as if i care now.....PUI.... not hard up for ur job

then she commented tt i dun stay long with a co....i told her if got better opportunities why not go? so i asked her back" how long do u consider long?" and she rebutted me back "but 2 yrs is not long lor" come on lor, to u not long, to others is long lor. i read somewhere, the 1st yr is like a learning curve, u get to get used to the co's culture, management and the colls, the clients, the everything, then once u settle down, the 2nd yr is for u to know the job better, and then if can, u stay on if not bye bye.......so everytime i leave, its becoz mgt no good, or better $$$, no work lor.....so its ok wat. asked me how long i expect to stay with them. my reply is "as long as the co and i feels tt i am contributing to the co". and she went "opportunities we have plenty here. so u dun have to worry"........as if i care lor......

so she went and asked me any more qn
and i went "i heard from mario tt co is shifting to new location. is it ok to let me know the location in case i am being offered the job?"
she stared at me and went "there is no bus from ur place to this new place. but its a much better location"
and i went "OH PLEASE!!!! NOT AGAIN? u might as well dun answer me!!??!! * want to tear off my hair liao*...... then she continued with "its somewhere in novena"

i confirmed not interested liao lor. please dun mistaken ok. i am not being choosy or fussy. i just cannot work under such a boss or even have such a coll lor. i will vomit blood......asked her 3 qns, all 3 no good replies from her......she doesn't answer my qn so how am i gg to judge whether i want the job or not if i am being offered??? bloody hell..... what if she asked me to do something and then i did it my way and then later she comments "NOT LIKE THIS." then i how? bloody hell lor.......her instruction and direction will never be clear to me. and having to work under someone like tt, ma chiam like the boss i had in F&A.........i will vomit blood and die.....

asked u to do A, then after tt said should have done B, so u amend and then she said no no no, it should be C. then after u redo, she tells u why u no do A.......can die one lor
everyday already 24hrs not enough, and when u meet such ppl, its so inefficient to do redundant work........sigh.......

then never mind, the 3rd interview came right after CM interviewed me. an ang mo came in and his qn to me is "why u quit without a job?" then i went "after my contracts ended, i decided to take a break and to look for more challenging role and responsibility" then he went "but this is a qs post lor. so what challenging role are u talking abt?" bloody pig lor.....the advertisement is "CONTRACTS MANAGER" u never state is QS lor, i thought it was more for contracts administration, lesser VOs, lesser Payments, more on contract issues, esp urs is an arch cum interior design firm, tts why i applied and see what u can offer me. let's put it this way, i am not tt hard up to want your job. its not what i can offer u but what u can offer me to make me want to take up your offer.......i dun believe with my 11 yrs of exp as a qs, i cannot find another job...... =)) i know its not easy.....but surely i can find one...he even have the cheek to ask me "u quit or was asked to go?" KNN lor, nobody has EVER asked me go, its always on my own accord.....the interviewers really pissed me off liao lor......this time i no give face, last time tt one asked me abt my status, i still smile smile coz i dun know how to react but eventually i rejected their offer when they offered me. this time, i also "bu ke qi" lor..... after tt, i kept telling tt ang mo "sorry, i was not exposed to this, to that" and no longer kept my cool.......

then came the most exciting part. he asked me abt what i know of Design and Build contracts. as i said earlier on i just said i have no exposure to this area of work. then he briefly told me client engaged contractor and then the consultants worked for the contractor and client has a rep to supervised the team. so i grabbed the opporunity and asked him where are we then, we the client's side? contractor side? or where? then he stared at me and then no reply. and being so helpful, as usual, i went "we are everywhere." and he nodded saying "depends on client's requirement. we can be anywhere?" so u judge for urself lor, did he give u a clear pic if u are the interviewee??!!?? i rest my case *hands up in the air, surrender*

so i am telling u guys now, if u still will want to offer me the job end of the day, i can tell u now, i will reject.....coz i cannot imagine working under and with such ppl.......
