bAcK 2 tHe FuTuRe????

read the papers last nite
this smart alec was commenting "why the mrt trains need to switch on their lights in BROADDAY LIGHT. isn't it wasting electricity? why we need to have air con taxi or buses on the streets? we also can have non air con and then let the ppl choose to pay for more or less for their rides?"

all i want to say is "USE YOUR BRAINS"
sigh. i dun want to be rude here but this is my own humble opinion
mrt trains are not all travelling in the "sky" one lor
neither are they all travelling in tunnel........some are a mixtures of "sky" and tunnel. so now do u know why they need to switch on their lights? not to waste electricity or for fun!!! then u will say "then on it before gg into the tunnel lor." then dun u find it troublesome?? then u will say "just be coz u dun want to be troublesome then u dun on it? and continues wasting electricity?" "then why no light up the tunnel instead? but which is more economical to switch on the light for the trains or light up all the tunnels?? which is the saving and which is then wasting........*evil grin*

next, i am not saying anything ok. but singaporeans or non singaporeans very pampered one. and also fussy and choosy and difficult to please. we have come a long long way lor. last time, polisis wore short pants now long pants lor. last time public transport all non air con one lor. even the taxis are installed with fans only ok. then we evolved a long way and came to where we are today. so much better so much nicer, of course there is a price to come with it lah. but have we been complaining???!!?? not much lah. complains sure have one, coz we are afterall human lor....... =))

frankly speaking, with the hot weather like this in singapore, who can ta han no air con. u tell me lor. maybe i can lah, coz my house no air con no washing machine. we still the very the "manual" type one. but really, imagine, on a hot and sunny day, all dressed up to go to work, ask u to take a non air con cab just so tt u can save the few cents!!! will u rather pay a few more cents and take an air con cab???? and can appeared in the office "swee swee" just in time for that meeting with ceo or clients or director.....

and who knows, on the way to work, suddenly heavy downpour, u have to wind up the windows, then ???? no air con.......waste the fan so small..........how u wished u had pay a few more cents and travel in comfort rite????

then buses!! i tell u lor. i witnessed it myself many many times. when it rains, the passengers do not help the bus driver closed the windows one lor. they deemed or concluded tt "its not my business" of course there are good ones lah (just like me. but i just closed the windows ard me) anyway, then the seat next to the windows will get wet and then ppl dun want to sit lor. very typical one. wet wet dun sit......then its also troublesome for the driver to stop along the road and close all the windows esp if its crowded in the bus lor

and if really this idea went thru the board, does it means tt transportation cost can be reduced??? coz why are we paying a premium when the "standard" has dropped??

u know the answers liao lor, dun need ppl to tell u.........

but glad got ppl who voice out their views
afterall, only by voicing out then got ppl hear.....
