really felt heart ache for my dear old man!!
i was grumbling abt work on sat and then he also blurted out his side of the story
his new boss sucks!!
(u know who u r ok)

anyway, not gg to gave u the details of how his boss sucks
(btw just in case u wondering, dear old man did not use the word "suck" ok. i use it)

ok ok, dun off track first..back to the story

so i told him "bosses all like this one rite? credit they claimed, shit the subordinates kana lor"
then he kept quiet
then i also just kept quiet, let him released all his vent up steam
and so he rattled and i just listened

then i said "never mind lah. next yr will get the promotion and then pay increasement lor?"
his replied "the promotion and the pay increasement now seemed so far away. anyway, will just do my work. finished up the project then see how."

then i finally asked him "dear, r u happy?" his reply was "before he came in i was happy, after he came in, i unhappy lor"
so i told him why not go tell his big boss abt it.
then he sort of scolded me "never backstab ur boss"
then i said "i never backstab lor. just tt he not a good boss, cannot lead lor."
then he said "cannot do tt."

and becoz he told me got many things to do
so i told him "why not u make a list of what u need to do either every morning or before u knock off for the day. then just finish those work on the list." (u know as in prorities ur work)
then he rumbles on and on abt he is very busy every day
attending to meetings and meetings and then in between he will scheduled for meetings too coz very day full of meetings
then he can only cleared his paper work in the evening and also replied all emails in the evening.
so he told me tts what he wants to do everyday
before he called it a day, he wants to clear his inbox for the day and settled all the emails tt required his ACTIONS
so i told him why not get permission from his office to let him have the modem or whatever it is call to install in his pc so tt he can clear emails at home too.
he said he dun want coz he said "play game and reply emails how to? work till 3am also cannot clear lor"
then i told him "u have to be discipline not to play game lor. work is work" (so u see, the problem lies with him not being discipline enough lor)
anyway then i told him "u have to take care of urself. always work till so late not very good."
then he said "ai ya, tell u, u also dun understand."
then i was like so pek chey liao lor
so i told him "not tt i dun understand lor. just tt u everyday work so late, not enough rest/sleep, also not good for urself. if u fall sick, the work will lagi stack up lor. then whats the pt"
then he just kept quiet

my theory wrong meh?
my concern for him also wrong meh?
sigh........
what is correct then........
just leave him to work till he drop die??
worth it meh??
nobody is indispensible lor....not tt i want to discourage him from working hard
but work so hard, if nobody appreciates then very sad one lor

work is one thing, health also impt......
who agrees with me??
